Our practice weaves are constructed in the same manner as our competition weaves, with a hinge in the middle to enable the set to be folded in half for easier storage.  However, a lighter duty hinge is used on our practice grade weaves to reduce the cost.  The fabricated steel is then sandblasted and powder coated in any color you desire.  When selecting a color for your weaves, look for one on the color chart that is called "Fine Texture".  These coatings provide a very fine anti-slip texture on the bases.

Our practice weave pole sets come with 36" tall, Schedule 40 PVC poles.  We will build your weaves at whatever pole spacing you desire.

We can build your practice weaves with either two feet that are attached to the center section to allow the feet to be swiveled inline with the center section for easier storage, or we can put welded offset feet on them like our competition weaves. 

Holes are also drilled down through the base at the two end poles of each set to allow large nails to be driven through them to stake to weaves down if necessary (nails not included).  Once the nail is driven into the ground, the pole fits over the nail and pin completely hiding the nail.

CHANNEL WEAVES

We also offer channel weaves for training young dogs.  Our channel weaves open up to approximately 18" between the poles, or can be closed to be in line like a normal set of weaves.  The channel weave base is hinged in the middle like our regular weaves to allow them to be folded for storage and transport.  We will build your channel weaves with whatever pole spacing you desire.

The adjustable portion on our channel weaves is constructed with a thread on the bottom of the PVC pole pin which allows the pin to be the tightening mechanism.  This design allows the 3 adjustable poles to be moved and tightened so that once the PVC pole is placed on it there are no protruding thumbscrews or bolts for the dog to injure themselves on.  The outside larger tube that the PVC pole sits inside of holds the pole straight and protects the tightening pin from being bent when the dog is weaving through the poles.

2 x 2 STYLE WEAVES

We also offer 2 x 2 style weaves if that's your preference for training young dogs.  Our 2 x 2 weaves are constructed from flat steel with welded feet in an offset position.  We build them with "tails" on each end that are cut to a length that will allow the ends to be easily lined up with the correct pole spacing if you want to put two or more sets together in a line.  Holes are drilled in the base like our regular weaves, and one hole in each offset foot, so that they can be staked to the ground.  We will build your 2 x 2 style weaves with whatever pole spacing you desire.

We offer our practice weave pole sets either unfinished or painted.  If you are handy with a can of spray paint you can save significant $$ by purchasing your weaves unfinished and painting them yourself.
